Columbia Heights Hosts CAPP Strategic Planning Workshop

Columbia Heights Public Schools hosted a strategic planning workshop on Tuesday, Nov 5th. Arts educators from Columbia Heights gathered to discuss the future of arts education in the district.

The Comprehensive Arts Planning Program (CAPP) is working with eight school districts for the next two school years: Bemidji Area Schools, Columbia Heights Public Schools, Minneapolis Public Schools, Pine City Public Schools, Proctor Public Schools, South St. Paul Public Schools, St. James Public Schools, and Yellow Medicine East Schools. CAPP provides assistance to selected Minnesota public school districts as they create and implement an arts education strategic plan. Kristi Johnson, CAPP Director, led the strategic planning workshop in Columbia Heights.
