Perpich Center Awards and Recognition
The Perpich Center for Arts Education:
was awarded in 2014 with leadership in Minnesota for the national Turnaround Arts initiative by the President's Committee on the Arts and the Humanities
was tapped by Americans for the Arts in 2014 to lead a three-year national pilot project studying arts education policy.
- was awarded substantial funding through the Minnesota Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund (for the past two bienniums) to deliver arts integration programs to help transform urban, suburban and particularly rural Minnesota schools through K-12 teacher professional development and funding to schools.
spearheaded the first Minnesota Arts Education Survey in 2012 to provide status of arts education in Minnesota as a benchmark for the state.
was presented with the College Board's inaugural Midwestern Regional Award for Excellence and Innovation in the Arts in 2013.
