New faces at Perpich for November
We've added new staff at Perpich Center for Arts Education. Read on to learn a bit more about them. Their photos may be found in the staff directory.
Tammy Funk, director of human resources, graduated with distinction from Iowa State University with a degree in business administration with an emphasis in management. She was employed with St. Croix County in Hudson, WI as the human resources director from 2007-2015. Prior to that she was an HR generalist with Ramsey County in St. Paul. She is a 20-year human resources professional with significant experience in all areas of HR, specifically leadership development, employee relations, succession planning and strategic planning.
Christina Krieger is Perpich's human resources technician. Her experience includes two years in human resources and payroll at System Design Atvantage, a small technology company. She is a graduate of St. Cloud State University with a degree in sociology.
Christine Paulos is the Perpich Arts High School admissions coordinator. Chris was director of admissions and of assessment and testing for Century Community and Technical College, positions she retired from just before coming to Perpich.
Before Century, she worked at the University of St. Thomas as director of academic counseling in the Department of Athletics. She holds a B.S. in physical education from the University of Minnesota and an M.A. in psychology/counseling from Liberty University. She received the Outstanding Student Service Leader Achievement Award in 2005, 2007 and 2009-13 at Century and is a member of the University of Minnesota Softball Hall of Fame.
Heidi Sandmeier is the new school social worker at Perpich Arts High School and Crosswinds Arts and Science School. She has a B.S. in social work from Mankato State University and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Minnesota. She has worked for the National Association of Social Workers, Minnesota Chapter, and for the past 15 years she has been a school social worker for Wayzata Schools. She is a licensed independent clinical social worker.
