Don't Miss It! Events for February and March 2016

Music! Awards ceremony! Videos! Poetry! Dance! Musical theater! It's always lively around here but we have some amazing events coming up that you won't want to miss.

This Thursday and Friday, Feb. 11 and 12, the music students will be presenting three concerts in the Performance Hall: Thursday, 7:30 p.m., and on Friday both a matinee at 3:30 p.m. as well as an evening concert at 7:30 p.m. Don’t miss these always talent-filled events!
The Perpich Scholastic Arts exhibition and recognition ceremony and the junior/senior media arts video poem screening will be at 5:30 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 18, in the Basta Gallery. Honor our spectacular artists, photographers and writers who won so many Scholastic awards and then watch the annual video poems that represent the creative collaboration of media and literary arts students.
And then on the same night! Don’t leave campus after the media arts screening on Thursday, Feb. 18, because at 7:30 p.m. will be the winter dance performance in the Black Box Theater. Stay inside and bask in the warmth of our incredible dancers' talent.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed that the senior literary arts reading on Thursday, Feb. 25, won’t be delayed by snow as the junior reading was last week! Come hear the seniors at 7:30 p.m. at Intermedia Arts, 2822 Lyndale Ave. S., Minneapolis.
Coming up on March 9-12 will be “Working,” the Perpich musical theater production, based on Studs Terkel’s classic book by the same name. The production will involve all of the performing arts—theater, music and dance—It’s going to be an incredible show! Save the dates!
