Origami Bones’ album release to feature alumni and current students

Origami Bones, a local band consisting of Perpich alumna Mackenzie Monk (a.k.a. Shatter the Primate, ’14, music) and producer Adriatic, will release their new album “One” with a show on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. at the Minnehaha Free Space.

The event includes former and current media, musical, and visual arts students: Faith Rawson, Ian Underhill-Cady, Jae Shin Cross, Satya Varghese Mac, Michael Hansen, and Monk, along with many other artists from various local locations.

In addition to musical performances, the album release will include an art installation by Rawson and Shin Cross. An Origami Bones music video by Varghese Mac and Shin Cross for “In Jowl,” will be released the day before the event as well (the band and filmmakers previously received accolades from “City Pages” for their collaboration on the Origami Bones video for “Spine Diving.”)

Learn more about the release at the Facebook event page and check out “Spine Diving” below.
