Music alumna releases second album, performs live on the Current

Barbara Jean (‘99) celebrated the release of her second album, "Darker Than Blue," with a late November concert at the Icehouse in Minneapolis and a live performance in the Radio Heartland studio at the Current.

Congrats to 2013 media arts alumni Lukas Sorensen and Adam Jacobs for their first place win for “Lesbie,” and Sorenson, Jacobs, Ziaoye Jiang and Alyssa Reynolds for winning second place for their film “Hank.”

Origami Bones’ album release to feature alumni and current students

Origami Bones, a local band consisting of Perpich alumna Mackenzie Monk (a.k.a. Shatter the Primate, ’14, music) and producer Adriatic, will release their new album “One” with a show on Saturday, Nov. 15 at 8 p.m. at the Minnehaha Free Space.
