Regulations regarding school lunches are available at the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE)–Food and Nutrition Service (FNS) website’s page for the “Healthy, Hunger-Free Kids Act (HHFKA)." The site includes documents that can be downloaded, access to meal pattern information, instructions and “best practices” that schools around Minnesota are doing in relation to school meals and HHFKA.
