Perpich Arts High School senior is National Merit finalist

Anna Boguzewski, a senior in music, has been named a finalist in the 2015 competition for National Merit Scholarships. She is the daughter of Michael and Deborah Boguzewski of Roseville.

Anna was one of 1,500,000 entrants who took the qualifying test, the PSAT, in the fall of 2013. That group was narrowed down to 34,000 Commended students, then to 16,000 Semifinalists, who are the highest-scoring entrants from each state.
Finally, 15,000 Finalists are named—just one per cent of those who took the test. All National Merit Scholarship winners (approximately 7,600) will be chosen from this group of Finalists and receive one of three types of scholarships: the National Merit $2500 Scholarship, a corporate-sponsored scholarship or a college-sponsored scholarship.
