Ramert & Ruggeri Experience National Unified Auditions in Chicago

Every February, inside the Palmer House Hotel in Chicago, the theater departments of several dozen colleges converge to hold the National Unified Auditions, a make-or-break, do-or-die audition week for anxious, hopeful theater kids. This year, two of our Perpich students were part of the action.

Seniors Trent Ramert (Theater 2020) and Andy Ruggeri (Theater 2020) are both pursuing a post-secondary Bachelor of Fine Arts; Ramert in musical theater and Ruggeri in acting and musical theater. They traveled to Chicago to audition for multiple colleges over a handful of days. They prepared monologues, songs, and dance numbers for the long, stressful days that they hope will pay off in admissions offers and scholarships. Ramert was offered a $5,000 talent scholarship by one school on the spot. We wish them the best of luck and continue to break a leg, Trent and Andy!
