Science Instructor, High School
From living on the Mississippi River to the Rocky Mountains of Montana, Mark Wackerfuss has had the opportunity to have many different adventures in his lifetime which he likes to share with the students in lectures and materials presented. His background is undergraduate work in Biology, Neuroscience, and Ethics and graduate work in Education for a Master’s Degree. He did a summer practice at William Mitchell College of Law and trained for several years leading to federal and state certification as an emergency manager. Another interesting thing about Mark is he has been a judge for the Minnesota State Science Fair for the past eight years. Mark lives in the East Metro near Afton and believes every student has the potential to succeed with adequate accommodations given for their individualized learning styles.
