Quanwanza “Que” Rivera, RN, LSN, joined the Perpich community in 2024 and serves as a Licensed School Nurse. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN), a public health certificate, and additional certifications across the healthcare field. Que brings a strong clinical background in acute care and case management, which informs her proactive, systems-based approach to student health services.

In her role, Que not only manages the day-to-day health needs of students but also contributes to the development and strengthening of health policies, procedures, and safe care practices across the school community. She is an active member of the school’s Wellness Committee, supporting initiatives that promote student health, safety, and overall well-being.

Que is passionate about creating structured, supportive environments where students can thrive both physically and academically. Her work is grounded in collaboration, prevention, and advocacy to ensure all students have access to safe and equitable care.

Coming from a blended family that includes her husband, six children, and two dogs, Que values teamwork, resilience, and compassion, qualities she strives to model and instill in her students each day.
