Spanish Instructor, High School
Sarah York has taught Spanish at Perpich since 2020. She has a B.A. in Latin American and Iberian Studies and Creative Writing from Bard College in New York. Since her undergrad years, she has raised a family, built a homestead, studied traditional music, taught folk dancing, and continued writing and learning about language. In 2015 she completed her Masters of Education at St. Mary’s University of Minnesota to become a Spanish teacher. She plays with old-time and country groups in the Twin Cities, writes songs, and organizes community dances.
