To accomplish this\, \n\nWe will observe Regional Arts Teacher-Leader Katie Hahn teach Music Theory class and Wind Ensemble rehearsal\, paying attention to areas such as student engagement\, instructional strategies\, formative assessment\, and/or teaching resources. Think about “Ah-ha!” and “I wonder…”\nFollowing class and rehearsal\, Wendy Barden will facilitate a discussion of our observations and connections to the new MN music standards.\n\nTake away new ideas and strategies for teaching your high school music classes\, plus a better understanding of new Music standards relative to the classes you teach. \nDETAILS:\nThe day is hosted by Dr. Wendy Barden\, Music Education Specialist in Professional Development & Resource Programs at Perpich Center for Arts Education. There is no cost to participate. A certificate for 6 clock hours will be distributed at the end of the day.\nNote: The maximum number of participants is 10. Registration will close when we reach that number.
