DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION HERE \nHave you seen this new book?\nTHE ABCs OF MY FEELINGS AND MUSIC\nScott and Stephanie Edgar\, authors and Nancy Sosna Bohm\, illustrator \nOne of the authors\, Scott Edgar\, also wrote MUSIC EDUCATION AND SOCIAL EMOTIONAL LEARNING: THE HEART OF TEACHING MUSIC. \nIn a nutshell\, this book – usable across K-12 instruction – identifies an emotion for each letter of the alphabet and then names three pieces portraying that emotion. The scope of musical examples was intentionally limited to Western art music…which is only a beginning. \nWHAT: Join other music educators online to help build out a list of music with examples from more diverse genres\, composers\, cultures\, times\, and parts of the world. The finished product will be shared with educators across the state.
