SUMMARY:GETTING BACK TO PRACTICING
DESCRIPTION:REGISTRATION HERE \nThis roundtable discussion is intended for all band and orchestra teachers. \nDATE AND TIME:\nMonday\, January 31\, 2022 (7:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.) \nEVENT LOCATION:\nONLINE – A Zoom link will be provided prior to the workshop \n\nDESCRIPTION:\nHas remote learning affected your students’ commitment to individual practicing? Maybe it’s a school-wide declaration that there will be no homework? Either way\, students seem to have less or little appetite for practicing outside of rehearsals. Think together about how to re-engage and motivate students to practice. Bring your ideas! \nDETAILS:  \n\n\n\nOur guest presenter is Laura Boillat\, band director at Holy Family Catholic High School in Victoria and St. Therese Catholic School in Deephaven.\nThere is no cost for this roundtable event and 1 CEU hour is earned.\nThe event is hosted by Dr. Wendy Barden\, Music Education Specialist in Professional Development & Resource Programs at Perpich Center for Arts Education.
