DESCRIPTION:Perpich Arts High School Studio Arts Department presents “The First Last Hurrah: Junior Exhibition” \nThe exhibition includes artwork created in Perpich art classes this year by members of the Class of 2023 and features animation\, video art\, drawings\, paintings\, prints\, sculpture\, digital art\, and jewelry. The students selected two pieces of artwork that they were proud of or they felt represented them well to be displayed on the gallery walls. \nRun dates: May 12th – September 2nd\, 2022 \n  \nArtist Statement: \nWhat makes juniors juniors? Is it the fact that we are in our eleventh year\, or is it the untold and endless possibilities for our futures? \nTake a moment to reminisce\, because that is the beauty of “Our First Last Hurrah”. We are taking our first big step forward\, and yes\, this isn’t our ending\, but it will always stand as the beginning to an end. \nOur journey at this school was full of new beginnings\, introducing who we are as artists and figuring out how to move through this new space. Adjusting and understanding came next. Realizing hidden skills\, expressing one’s freedom in creating\, and pushing what is possible all accompanied us through this chapter of our lives. \nOur works do not define our progress\, but instead pave the way for the progression and personality we as artists will achieve. \nSo walk through all the hours of development and creativity our junior class has to offer. Relax\, and enjoy the show. \n  \nRESERVE TICKETS HERE \nWe are following COVID protocols. DESCRIPTION:Perpich Arts High School Dance Program is happy to present “The Dancing Bunch”. The spring concert is the culmination of a semester of work. The dancers will demonstrate their creativity\, choreographic skills\, and performance expertise in student choreographed works\, faculty works\, and guest works. The works range in style\, musical choice\, and intention. \n“The Dancing Bunch” \nChoreography by the students\, faculty\, and guest artists: Gabrielle Abram ’15 and Darrius Strong \n\n8 dancers from 8 Minnesota communities\nA million ideas of inspiration\nOne community\n\nThe show runs 7:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. with an intermission \nNo photography or videotaping is allowed during the performance. Video of the show will be made available to families of the dancers. \nWe are following COVID protocols so seating is limited.
