SUMMARY:PERPICH ARTS HIGH SCHOOL DANCE PROGRAM PRESENTS "LIMINAL SPACES"
DESCRIPTION:Perpich Arts High School Dance Program is happy to present “Liminal Spaces”. The fall concert is the culmination of a semester of work. The dancers will demonstrate their creativity\, choreographic skills\, and performance expertise in 12 student choreographed works\, a faculty work\, and one guest work. The works range in style\, musical choice\, and intention. The title\, ”Liminal Spaces”\, refers to a place of transition\, a threshold between two points. The dancers have created work that illuminates this stage of their lives. The dances range from haunting to harsh\, from dynamic to fluid\, from formal to fun. \nTICKET RESERVATION LINK \nLiminal space is a place of transition\, a threshold between two points\, signaling the end of one time or space\, and the beginning of another.  \n“Liminal Spaces” \nChoreography by the students\, faculty\, and guest artist: Gabrielle Abram ’15 \n\nEight dancers from eight Minnesota communities\n12 student choreographed dances\nOne guest artist\nOne faculty dance\nA million ideas of inspiration\nOne community\nTwo priceless evenings\n\nThe show runs 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. with an intermission. \nNo photography or videotaping is allowed during the performance. Video of the show will be made available to families of the dancers.
