DESCRIPTION:DATE AND TIME:\nSaturday\, January 10\, 2026\n9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.\n(*Deadline for registration is Monday\, January 5th*) \nLOCATION:\nPerpich Center for Arts Education\nGAIA Building\, Large Glass Box – 2nd Floor\n6125 Olson Memorial Highway\nGolden Valley\, MN 55422 \nCOST: FREE  \nCLOCK HOURS: Certificates will be given for 4 Clock Hours \nTARGET AUDIENCE: Minnesota Elementary and Middle School Theater Educators and Directors \nREGISTRATION LINK \nDETAILS:\nYou asked and we answered! Join us for the first ever winter edition of our Elementary and Middle School Roundtable! We will spend half a day together to share your challenges\, questions\, strategies\, ideas\, and resources for teaching elementary and middle school theater. This session will continue to build upon the knowledge and resources shared at our past two summer roundtables\, and you’re welcome to join whether you are returning or new to this circle! \nThis day is FOR you and will be largely shaped BY you! It is about sharing and connecting with one another\, and building on the collective wisdom in the room. Drawing upon your notes and evaluations from last summer about what is top of mind for you\, we will focus on these topics at this gathering: \n\nMore game/activity/exercise sharing\nStrategies for Building Community\, Engaging All Learners\, and Managing the Classroom\nLesson or Unit Plan sharing\nInformal lunch conversations about AI\, Teaching Tech Theater\, and other topics\nAnd a guest appearance by Christine Deignan\, half of a professional duo working to create new\, relevant\, useful\, age-appropriate Middle School Musicals\, who is curious for your input on their newest work-in-progress\n\nIn the registration form\, please be sure to indicate what you might be willing to share (a theater game/exercise\, a strategy for community building and engagement\, and/or a lesson/unit plan). I’ll follow up asking for more details as we get closer\, and then I’ll work to structure the day and the conversations accordingly! \nLunch will be included!
