SUMMARY:2026 RELICENSURE TOPICS SERIES FOR ARTS EDUCATORS - CREATING A MORE INCLUSIVE ARTS CLASSROOM
DESCRIPTION:In January – March 2026\, Perpich Center for Arts Education is hosting our 5th annual series of virtual sessions on topics required for renewal of Tier 3 and Tier 4 licenses in Minnesota. This year’s series addresses SIX of the required topics and each topic is offered twice. Examples of the strategies shared will come from arts classrooms but all educators are welcome! \nCREATING A MORE INCLUSIVE ARTS CLASSROOM\nWe will explore best practices for teaching English Learners in your arts classroom and then expand our collective thinking to include accommodations to meet the needs of all students. This session addresses two relicensure topics: English Learners and Accommodation and Modification.\nOffered on: Tuesday\, February 10 (4:00 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.) and repeated Thursday\, March 12 (4:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.) \nREGISTER HERE \nMORE DETAILS:  \n\nThese are online/virtual sessions.
