DESCRIPTION:Are you new to your role and/or ready to gain a deeper understanding of the newest Minnesota K-12 Academic Standards in the Arts? The Minnesota legislature set the 2023-2024 school year as the implementation date of the new Arts standards. And\, effective August 1\, 2024\, Minn. DESCRIPTION:DATE AND TIME: Monday\, August 10\, 2026 (1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.) \nDESCRIPTION: Perpich Center is excited to host our 2nd Annual Book Fair! This year\, the Book Fair invites K-12 educators and librarians and community members to celebrate books by a diverse group of BIPOC authors and illustrators. \nThe afternoon will include opening remarks by Sen. Mary Kunesh\, a champion of libraries and former library media specialist; a keynote conversation with Bao Phi; and time to peruse and purchase books from several independent booksellers.
