Students from Perpich Arts High School, St. Paul Academy and Summit School, and Woodbury High School were honored at the exhibition’s award ceremony on February 8, 2024.

Congratulations to our Studio Arts department! Work by several Studio Arts students was included in Concordia University St. Paul’s 2024 High School Honors Exhibition and Chloe Laun (Visual Arts 2024) received First Place honors in the 2D category! A total of 26 pieces were in the show from Studio Arts students at Perpich Arts High School.

“This was a really cool show to be a part of; it was a great opportunity to see work from other students at different schools, and it was also great to see so many wonderful pieces by fellow Perpich students being recognized,” said Chloe Laun. “Being in this exhibition was a fantastic opportunity for everyone whose work was featured, and I’m really grateful and honored to have won first place 2D in a show with so many really awesome pieces.”

“Being a part of the Concordia High School Exhibition is an honor,” said Rebecca Bullen, Perpich Arts High School Principal. “This is an invite show that goes to the best of the best arts high schools and represents student voice, hard work, and arts education. I am proud of our students and their teachers!”

The closing reception and award ceremony for the exhibition was Thursday, February 8th, 2024. Keith J. Williams, Professor at Concordia University and Chair of the Department of Art and Design, gave a short speech and then they announced the winners and handed out award certificates in two categories: 2D and 3D/digital. There were First Place, Second Place, Third Place, and honorable mentions given within both categories. The exhibition was on display January 25 – February 8, 2024 in the Concordia Gallery and H. Williams Teaching Gallery located at 1301 Marshall Ave. St. Paul, MN 55104.
