Danielle Krivinchuk, Actor, Workshops Shakespeare Monologues with Theater and Musical Theater Students

Danielle Krivinchuk, Actor, worked with Theater and Musical Theater students on Shakespeare monologues.

In April, Theater and Musical Theater students welcomed Danielle Krivinchuk, actor, to their classroom for two weeks of intensive work on Shakespeare monologues.

“It was a privilege getting to work with the students and see how much they grew over a two-week period,” said Krivinchuk. “They were brave, willing, and up for the challenges I threw at them.”

Tory Peterson, Theater Instructor, said, “I think it’s great whenever we get our students to work with area professionals who can share insights into different ideas and learnings.”

Staff and families were invited to attend a presentation of the Shakespeare Monologues on April 19th. thomas Carlson, English Instructor, shared, “I really enjoyed the students’ work on their monologues. They really inhabited their characters, were so energized and physical, and they made clear sense of the language. I was impressed by their enunciation; I could understand every word they said! Congrats to all.”

Danielle Krivinchuk has a Masters in Classical and Contemporary Text (Acting) from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. While there, she created and performed a one-woman show, Shades of Living about crisis intervention and mental health. Representative Credits Include: Radiant Vermin (Lyric Arts), Silent Sky (Theatre Pro Rata – 2020 and Lyric Arts – 2017), The Penelopiad (Theatre Unbound), The Drowning Girls (Freshwater Theatre), Synchronicity and The Funny (Raw Sugar), The Oresteia (Hero Now), Arcadia and Betty’s Summer Vacation (Chameleon Theatre Circle), Eastern Standard (Workhouse Theatre), Our Country’s Good (Starting Gate Productions), Seven and Choices (Chain Reaction Theatre Company), multiple Fringe shows, among other readings and performances. She has also worked on short films for the 48 hour Film Contest and Z-Fest. She is a Crisis Intervention Actor, Coach and Trainer, and Teaching Artist.
