SESSION#2: STANDARD 10 – HOW DO WE TEACH TO THE MN AMERICAN INDIAN TRIBES AND COMMUNITIES STANDARD WITH RESPECT? with Dr. Betsy Maloney Leaf
Join Dr. Betsy Maloney Leaf as she leads us into a discussion about the history of the standard, questioning our assumptions, and reflecting on our K-12 experience. This framing will launch us into identifying gaps in our knowledge as well as in our steps for research, collaboration, and contemporary issues. It will also help us identify artists that could be the basis for our curriculum.
(This is an ongoing series – more sessions coming this summer and fall. You are welcome to attend only one session, or them all!)
This workshop is open to all dance and theater educators as well as other arts teachers.
