SESSION#1: STANDARD 10 – HOW DO WE TEACH TO THE MN AMERICAN INDIAN TRIBES AND COMMUNITIES STANDARD WITH RESPECT? with Dr. Betsy Maloney Leaf

Join Dr. Betsy Maloney Leaf as she leads us in a discussion about the history of the standard and the ways in which we can challenge assumptions about native culture. This framing will launch us into identifying gaps in our knowledge in order to connect contemporary issues and artists to classroom curriculum.

(This is an ongoing series – more sessions coming this summer and fall. You are welcome to attend only one session, or them all!)

This workshop is open to all dance and theater educators as well as other arts teachers.
