Perpich Arts High School Literary Arts Department Presents “See You Later, Alligator” a Lit Reading
May 15, 2025
The Literary Arts Department of Perpich Arts High School presented “See You Later, Alligator” on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. Their fourth and final reading of the school year, the students worked hard to create a fitting send off for the seniors, reflecting the growth, hard work, and experiences in Lit this year. The reading took place at Open Book on Washington Avenue in Minneapolis.
“The reading last night capped off a spectacular year in the Lit Department,” said Kevin Lally, Literary Arts Instructor. “Students shared reflective, mournful, exuberant, and silly pieces that recognized their journey over the last year. I am humbled and honored to work with them! I’m so proud of you, Lit Kids!”
Rebecca Bullen, Perpich Arts High School Principal, said, “I’m continually impressed by their ability to use language in such impactful ways—expressing both raw and refined stories that pull at your heart, make you think deeply, laugh hard, and leave you inspired.”
Open Book is a gathering place, sanctuary, and destination for all who are interested in or inspired by the literary and book arts. Their mission is dedicated to diverse and dynamic creativity, conversation, and collaboration rooted in the literary and book arts.
Congratulations to all involved with the Literary Arts reading!
