Perpich Arts High School Music Department Presents: 22/23 Sound Works IV

May 18, 2023

The Perpich Arts High School Music Department presented the fourth and final concert of the year on May 18, 2023 to a virtual and live audience. The concert showcased the work done by student ensembles during the past quarter – both covers of songs and original works created within each ensemble.

D’Anyka McGee (Music 2024) said, “For me, being on stage is home for me. My goal for performing is to make other people feel how I feel on stage. Happy, Confident, and overall seen and heard. I want people to be able to relate and feel the music I put out there and perform.”

Azalea Fustgaard (Music 2023) said, “Perpich Music has been a truly magical and curious experience. As I’ve spent time with and worked with more and more talented musicians, I’ve been able to explore many different sides of myself as a vocalist. I’m proud to say I’m very excited for my last set at Perpich, I’ve been able to work with so many beautiful people and have made wonderful new friends and connections. I love you all!”

Wyatt Desmarais (Music 2023) said, “I’m really excited for this concert, as when I perform I get to showcase who I am and the things I’m truly passionate about. This concert especially as I’ll be performing all originals, and bringing out all of me.”

Maeken Ploof (Music 2023) said, “Having this as my last Perpich ensemble music concert is so sad but so exciting. I’m excited to have so many music acts and to show everyone the styles and music!”

Congratulations to all involved with 22/23 Sound Works IV!
