Perpich Arts High School Music Department Presents: 24/25 Sound Works IV

The Music Department of Perpich Arts High School presented the fourth and final concert of the year on Thursday, May 15th with a repeat performance on Friday, May 16th. The concert was a culmination of the work created by students in their small ensembles during the fourth quarter – both covers of songs and original works created within each ensemble. Congratulations to all the music students and their instructors on an incredible performance!

Mae Edlund (Music 2025) was in the ensemble Dropkick for the 4th quarter. “I had an amazing time working with Dropkick and I’m excited to continue working with them this summer,” she said. “I’m sad my time at Perpich is over but I’m so so excited for what’s to come.”

Mie Morimoto (Music 2026) recognized that this event was different from the others earlier in the year. “This concert was special because it [was] the last performance at Perpich for our seniors,” she said.
