“I’m very honored and grateful to receive the Rotary scholarship this year!” said Aiyana. “I have so many good things to say about the people around me and their efforts in supporting me and lifting me up!”
Assistant Principal George Terry Jr. said, “Aiyana, your unwavering dedication to the arts and commitment to our community will always be celebrated here at Perpich. Congratulations, and continue to believe in yourself and inspire others. I wish you great success on your next journey in life.”
The scholarship is given to a student that exemplifies service above self, the motto that 1.4 million members of Rotary International embrace. The Golden Valley Rotary Club was founded in 1973 and the members are dedicated to the youth and environment of Golden Valley. This year’s scholarship is valued at $1,000.
Beaulieu is originally from Bemidji, Minnesota and previously attended TrekNorth Junior & Senior High School and Minnesota Connections Academy.
