Aaron Culey

Aaron Culey started working at Perpich in 2022. He grew up in rural South Dakota and moved to Minneapolis in 2012 to study sculpture at the Minneapolis School of Art and Design. After graduation, Aaron apprenticed in apartment maintenance at a 1930s-era complex, Fair Oaks. Aaron now applies the skills he learned in the trades with his practice of figurative sculpture and abstract painting. Outside of art, he is a passionate houseplant keeper, gardener, and forest wanderer.
