Anne Johnson came to Perpich Arts High School after 12 years working in college and career planning, first at Wayzata High School, then with UW-Milwaukee. Prior to entering education, Anne worked in the insurance and pharmaceutical industries. She believes that there is joy, reward, and value in any work we do, yet it’s really been in education with high school students at Perpich that she has found her calling. “I am incredibly lucky to have a career that fills me up as a vocation and avocation,” said Anne.

Anne loves being mom to her three grown children (and three cats) with her husband, Jeff. Before settling down in Wayzata, their family was fortunate to live in many states across the country. “Road trips are our favorite types of travel. Jeff drives and I navigate with an old fashioned map on my lap. It’s amazing what sites you can find when you’re off the major roadways!”
