Carol Syvertsen joined Perpich Arts High School in 2019 after spending over twenty years in public education as a school counselor. Living in Utah, Wisconsin, and California, before coming home to Minnesota, exposed her to amazing opportunities to work in several traditional and non-traditional secondary schools. Carol graduated from University of Wisconsin-Stout with a Masters in Guidance & Counseling and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Iowa State University. She is a member of the National Association for College Admission Counseling and the Minnesota Association for College Admission Counseling. The outdoors is a sanctuary and playground for her where she enjoys paddle boarding, biking, running, snowshoeing, and hiking. Carol has two adult children.
