Casey Johnson (She/Hers) began working at Perpich in 2025 but she’s familiar with campus; she is a former Perpich student, spending her junior year (2008-09) in Theater. She pursued teaching ballroom dance for several years, and officially retired in 2019 due to a hip injury and perfume allergy. Casey has two cats, Freyja and Butterscotch, adopted in 2020 by her and her fiancé.

In her spare time, Casey enjoys sewing, crafting, reading (currently has a count of 220 books in her personal library – not including her fiancé’s books), creating fabric designs in Procreate, and playing video games on her PlayStation 2 (Spyro, Crash Bandicoot, The Hobbit, and Tomb Raider). Future goals include: getting more time to rollerblade, visit the Trolls up in Detroit Lakes, and eat as much ice cream as possible. Fun fact: she doesn’t get brain freeze.
