Derek Taylor (he/him/his) joined the Perpich staff in 2021. He has a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design and an MFA in Furniture Design from Virginia Commonwealth University.

After graduate school, Derek began a career in IT and has been supporting Mac and Windows networks in corporate and educational environments since 1996.

He lives in Northeast Minneapolis with his wife, Kirsten, and daughter, Margot. In his spare time, Derek enjoys cabin life, woodworking, Kubrick films, and fixing things that break on an old British car.
