Max Clark-Vail joined the Professional Development and Resource Programs team at Perpich Center for Arts Education in 2018. His background includes serving as a high school administrator, school board chair, art education instructor, and visual & media arts teacher. Max has also served as a member of the Creative MN team. In 2022, Art Educators of Minnesota named him as the Art Administrator of the Year.

In his life outside of Perpich, Max has a compulsion to tinker, hack, and create. He has been known to moonlight as a musician, game designer, writer, bookbinder, and printmaker. He lives in Northeast Minneapolis with his spouse and two children who remind him daily just how magical the world can be.
