Board Member Gregory Winter Says Farewell

Perpich Board Member, Gregory Winter, has resigned from the Perpich Board after one term, effective May 31, 2021. Winter, from Minneapolis, Minnesota, was appointed to the Board by Governor Mark Dayton. He was appointed in December of 2016 with an effective start date of January 12, 2017.
“The things we have accomplished together in these 4 years, especially the stability and purpose that has been established in the tenure of this board, is noteworthy,” said Winter. “Our camaraderie and the common focus on the foundation and this school have made the time on this board enjoyable.”
Dr. Charles Rick, Perpich Executive Director, added, “Greg’s knowledge and experiences in the arts stood out to me. Whenever there was a meeting or general conversation, his dedication and ideas on service to Perpich and the arts is something I appreciated and will remember.”
Greg Winter has worked as a cinematographer for more than 30 years. He is a partner at Blue 60 Pictures which offers production, directing, shooting, and writing services for film making. He is an adjunct professor of film studies at the University of St. Thomas and University of Northwestern – Saint Paul. Greg served for 20 years on the Minnesota Film & TV Board. Winter received his education at the University of Iowa.
