Perpich Board Member, Jody Grams, will not apply for a second term to the Board, thus ending her service at the end of January, 2021. Grams, from New Prague, Minnesota, was appointed to the Board by Governor Mark Dayton. She served one term of four years, beginning January 11, 2017.

“It has been an honor to serve Perpich and I have thoroughly enjoyed getting to know and work with each of you,” said Grams. “I am amazed as I think about the past four years. My first year on the board was a tough year, there was a lot of work to be done to turn the ‘ship’ around. The passion of the Board and of the staff was evident as we all rolled up our sleeves and worked hard to move forward, especially through some of the tough decisions that had to be made. It’s great to be on the other side of those times and to begin seeing the results of those decisions.”

Dr. Charles Rick, Perpich Executive Director, added, “Jody impressed me with her knowledge and understanding on the key role that Perpich Center plays in supporting the arts in Minnesota. I appreciated the time and effort Jody gave to Perpich.”
