Caroline Rogan (Visual Arts 2023) has been named a National Merit Commended Scholar by the National Merit Scholarship Program! This honor is based on Caroline’s performance on the Preliminary Scholastic Aptitude Test (PSAT). Her score places her among the top 3% of test takers across the country.

“After graduation, I want to go to school out of state and study in an art or design program as well as continue writing and studying languages,” said Rogan. “I am very excited for what comes next, and this honor opens up a lot of doors for possible scholarships and hopefully acceptance into schools I’m interested in!”

“It does not surprise anyone here that Caroline is among this top tier of performers,” said Conn McCartan, Perpich Arts High School Principal. “While this particular honor is based on her performance on one measure of her ability, she has shown exceptional academic and artistic talent throughout her time here at Perpich.”

In a statement from the National Merit Scholarship program, a spokesperson said, “We hope that this recognition will help broaden Caroline’s educational opportunities and encourages her as she continues her pursuit of academic success.” Caroline is from Minnetonka, MN and is the daughter of Anne & Peter Rogan. She previously attended Minnetonka High School.
