Dear students,

We have had many challenging days and our hearts are heavy and our bodies exhausted. I am writing to remind you that we, your Perpich community, are here to support you. I understand many of you may be struggling emotionally as well as physically as you work to take care of yourselves, your families, and repair communities. There is a lot of work ahead of us and I believe together, we will get through it.

Please remember that you have people who want to support you. If you are struggling to get through these last few school days, please reach out to your teachers, Carol, DeRelle, Conn, or myself. We care about you and want to support you. If you need help but are not sure how, reach out and we will assist in figuring it out. We are here for you.

These are unprecedented times and what we are seeing around us is devastating. However, during this chaotic and emotional time I am also reminded of the power of care, connection, and community. I have seen so many people stepping up and in to guide, aid, clean up, and stand up for each other over the last few days and it provides me with renewed hope.

I am proud to be a part of your lives and the people around you. We are here to support you and I am confident you will get through this.
