In a quick 60 minutes…Think together about students’ Social Emotional Learning. In today’s environment, how might you weave components of SEL through music teaching and learning? Bonus! Examine the new book THE ABCs OF MY FEELINGS AND MUSIC with a crowd sourced expansion of ideas by Minnesota teachers.
OUTCOMES:
Participants will take away:
- Ideas for incorporating components of SEL in music
- Listening examples from diverse genres, composers, cultures, times, and parts of the world
WHO: All Minnesota music educators are welcome!
