ARTS-FOCUSED RELICENSURE DOUBLE HEADERS! – ACCOMMODATION AND MODIFICATION IN ARTS CLASSES

Back by popular demand! Announcing our 2024 schedule of virtual seminars that address four of the topics required for relicensure—and through an arts lens. Highlighted examples are taken from dance, theater, music, and media and visual arts classrooms. Each seminar is one hour in length and two topics are addressed on each date. Attend one or both seminars on any given date. Each seminar is repeated monthly, January through April. Clock hour forms are provided.
Accommodation and Modification in Arts Classes
Be reminded of accommodating, modifying, and adapting curricula, materials, and strategies to appropriately meet the needs of individual students and ensure adequate progress toward the state’s graduation rule. Offered January 31 at 4:10 p.m., February 29 at 5:15 p.m., March 12 at 5:15 p.m., April 17 at 4:10 p.m.

- A Zoom link will be sent to participants prior to each seminar.
- Sessions will NOT be recorded for later viewing.
- Participants are encouraged to engage fully with video (cameras on) if at all possible.
- Participants will complete a brief evaluation form to receive the clock hour certificate(s).
- There is no cost to participate.
