DESCRIPTION: For middle and high school physical education teachers looking to share and improve their strategies to cover the new MN State Standards for PE through Dance and Social and Emotional Learning.
SCHEDULE:
Observe 10th grade class (9:13 a.m. – 10:02 a.m.)
Observe 9th grade class (10:59 a.m. – 11:48 a.m.)
Lunch at the Railhouse Grill (Purchase your own meal)
Group discussion to collaborate on specific topics after the classroom observations
DETAILS:
The day is hosted by Regional Arts Teacher Leader Tom Horner and Mary Harding, Dance Education Specialist in Professional Development & Resource Programs at Perpich Center for Arts Education. There is no cost to participate. A certificate for 6 clock hours will be distributed at the end of the day.
Note: The maximum number of participants is 8. Registration will close when we reach that number.
