DESCRIPTION:
This day is a unique opportunity to a) inform your teaching practice through peer observation and discussion and b) form stronger connections with music teachers nearby. To accomplish this,
- We will observe Adam Tervola Hultberg teach six general music classes in grades K through 2. Pay particular attention to their classroom routines and community. Think about “Ah-ha!” and “I wonder…”
- Following the classes, we’ll enjoy lunch together. Wendy Barden will facilitate a discussion of our observations and other topics of interest to participants.
- We will provide up-to-date COVID-19 protocols closer to October 19.
Take away new ideas and strategies for your own teaching!
DETAILS:
The day is hosted by Dr. Wendy Barden, Director of Professional Development & Resource Programs at Perpich Center for Arts Education. There is no cost to participate. A certificate for 6 clock hours will be distributed at the end of the day.
Note: The maximum number of participants is 9. Registration will close when we reach that number.
