October 23 @ 4:30 pm - 5:30 pm

Grant Writing 101 for Educators in the Arts

DESCRIPTION: Looking for $$ to support your arts projects and programs? Grants can be an excellent source of revenue, but where do you find them? How do you write them? And what else do you need to know to make this stream of funding worthwhile? In this workshop, we’ll cover the basic who, what, where, when, why, and how of grant writing. We’ll also identify key sources and tools for finding more, as well as breaking down the specific and unique writing style required for grants. Participants will have plenty of time for questions! Whether it is your first time researching, writing, submitting, and managing a grant, or you just need a refresher, join us and sharpen your grant writing skills and savvy.
