WORKSHOP #1: HOW TO HAVE DIFFICULT CONVERSATIONS ABOUT RACE
This training aims to equip you with applicable tools to help you feel empowered to engage in constructive conversations about race and equity in the workplace.
Learning Objectives:
- Have conversations about race without the risk of damaging relationships.
- Know what to say and when during these difficult conversations.
- Communicate confidently, respectfully, and persuasively as it relates to making internal decisions that create a more inclusive environment.
- Avoid common mistakes in these conversations that damage group cohesion.

WORKSHOP #2: STRATEGY SESSION FOR ARTS ADVOCACY
This unique strategy session will aim to provide you not only with applicable tools to help you navigate your negotiations, but we will also work as a group to create a custom negotiation strategy to help you successfully advocate for the arts.
WHEN: Tuesday, November 24, 2020 at 5:00 – 6:30 p.m.
The content is different for each workshop. You are encouraged to attend both sessions, however it is not required.
