PAYING FOR COLLEGE – AN INTRODUCTION TO FINANCIAL AID AND THE COLLEGE DECISION PROCESS

Our Counselor, Carol Syvertsen, has set up a wonderful opportunity for our families to learn more about financial planning for college. “Paying for College – An introduction to Financial Aid and the College Decision Process” will be held on October 12th at 6:00 p.m. This will be a virtual presentation on how financial aid is determined, the financial aid application process, sources of financial support, borrowing, and private scholarships. Families can sign up here. Audience participation is encouraged through polling and a Q&A to address broad questions about the process. The presenter will be Chris George, who is currently the Dean of Admissions and Financial Aid at St. Olaf College.
