PERPICH CENTER 40TH ANNIVERSARY OPEN HOUSE
We are turning 40!
Please join us for our community open house on Saturday, September 13, 2025, 1:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m. to celebrate forty years of arts education in the state of Minnesota.
The event will feature: performances and work by alumni, staff, current students; tours of campus; refreshments; and more.
Perpich Center for Arts Education was born as the Minnesota Center for Arts Education in 1985, created by the state legislature at the urging of then Gov. Rudy Perpich and First Lady Lola Perpich. (It was renamed in Perpich’s honor after his death in 1995.) This year, we are celebrating 40 years of our agency’s mission to provide all Minnesota students the opportunity to develop, enhance, and integrate their artistic and academic abilities to their highest potential.
