SECONDARY MUSIC NETWORK
January 28, 2021 @ 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm
Free
A network of secondary music educators to share ideas, resources, questions, and strategies to maximize student learning in a distance and/or hybrid setting.
WHAT: The topic for this network session is RECRUIT, RETAIN, REVITALIZE! Here’s an opportunity to think aloud about the 2021-2022 school year. How might you REVITALIZE your music program next fall? What ideas do you and others have to RETAIN current ensemble members? Ideas to RECRUIT new members…or encourage students who dropped out under COVID-19 conditions to return? Join the conversation! This is better than a Facebook group.
OUTCOMES: Participants will:
- Problem-solve towards the 2021-2022 school year
- Make [stronger] connections with other music educators across the state
