Families Give Perpich Summer Camp 2026 High Marks

Perpich’s 2026 Summer Camp wrapped up with overwhelmingly positive feedback from families. Campers participated in: African Movement: Grounded Rhythm and Contemporary Flow, Beginning Guitar, Camp Literary Magazine, Creating Children’s Lit, Drawing Crash Course, Intro to Modular Origami, Introduction to Screenprinting, and Introduction to Relief Printmaking. Across two week-long camp sessions, 29 parents and guardians submitted evaluations, with 97% rating their student’s overall experience 5 out of 5 and 100% giving their instructor a 5 out of 5.

Every respondent said they would recommend a Perpich Center camp to another student, while 97% said they would register their student for another camp in the future.

The comments also highlighted the enthusiasm students brought home from their arts experience at Perpich. One parent wrote, “This was our first camp with Perpich but will not be our last,” while another simply shared, “She had a fabulous experience. Thank you.”

For some families, Summer Camp has become an annual tradition. One parent whose student attended for the second summer wrote, “This was [her] second summer attending camp and it was super fun!” The family travels three hours to attend and turns the experience into a week-long trip, adding, “We both look forward to camp!”

Another returning family described camp as more than a summer activity: “We look forward to Perpich camp all year! And it’s a great way to experience the school if considering attending as a student.”

With strong ratings, enthusiastic families, and students eager to return, the 2026 evaluations show that Perpich Summer Camp continues to provide engaging creative experiences for young artists.

2026 Perpich Summer Camp: By the Numbers

In 2026, Perpich Summer Camp welcomed students in grades 6th–10th for two different weeks (June 22-26 & July 27-31, 2026) of hands-on arts experiences. Parent evaluations show an overwhelmingly positive response to this year’s program, with families praising the instructors, the creative experiences, and the opportunity to connect with Perpich.
