Harding and Lein Walseth lead Osseo educators in Arts Integration Professional Development

Mary Harding (Education Specialist in Dance) and Stephanie Lein Walseth (Education Specialist in Theater) partnered with Zanewood Community School in ISD 279 – Osseo Area Schools for a day of professional development in August, 2019. Harding and Lein Walseth presented an arts integration unit with the entire staff, as Zanewood received grant funding to become a STEAM school. They worked with educators on using the tools of theater and dance – i.e. the body, movement, and voice to build community, unlock texts, and build arts literacy.
