After the event, Samantha Mellum, the Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) President from Sonnesyn Elementary, sent a note saying, “I just wanted to reach out and say a huge thank you – your students did such an amazing job at the Carnival on Friday! They were respectful, friendly, and so thoughtful throughout the event. Their presence brought such a positive and fun energy to the evening. The bounce house can definitely be a stressful spot to volunteer, and they handled it incredibly well – we were truly impressed! We’re so grateful for everything your school has done for us over the past couple of months. I hope the students enjoyed being part of it as much as we enjoyed having them!”
Sonnesyn Elementary provides a comprehensive, responsive education for K-5 students. Sonnesyn’s Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) sponsors many lively events such as BINGO, School Dance, Carnival, and more.
The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is an American honor society for high school students. It was established in 1978 by the National Art Education Association (NAEA) to recognize outstanding accomplishments in the visual arts by students in grades 9 to 12. The NAEA also supports a National Junior Art Honor Society for students in grades 6 to 8. The NAHS chapter at Perpich Arts High School started in 2024.
